Official World Launch Party from collaboration between Dogfish Head and The Bruery for their Japanese inspired beer called Faster, Bigger, Better, Bolder (Gradually, Quietly, Steadily) aka FBBB(GQS) to be released at FAR BAR in Little Tokyo on Tuesday October 11^th starting at 6pm.  Proceeds will be donated towards Japan Relief.                       

LOS ANGELES, CA – October 11, 2011 – What happens when you combine two brewers with a love for experimentation?  Back in June, Delaware’s Dogfish Head Brewery founder Sam Calagione traveled to and began working with Patrick Rue and his team at Orange County’s The Bruery on a collaborative beer.

This limited edition beer named “Faster, Bigger, Better, Bolder (Gradually, Quietly, Steadily)” aka FBBB(GQS) is an homage to the contrasting lifestyle views of American excess set against the more humble and traditional ways of Japan. Brewed with ingredients such as nori, chili peppers, sesame seeds, kumquats and the Bruery’s own seven spice schichimi togarashi blend along with sake yeast, this is an excessive beer brewed with tradition in mind.

$1 from each bottle sale will go towards rebuilding Japanese breweries and households that were destroyed during the recent earthquake.

Join Dogfish Head and The Bruery as they celebrate their collaboration with a world release party at FAR BAR in Little Tokyo.  347 E. First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.   Meet the brewers and ask them questions about their development of FBB(GQS). 

In addition to FBBB(GQS), Dogfish Head will tap Miles Davis’ Bitch’s Brew 2010 and 120 Minute IPA.  Bruery will also be bring a collection of their beers including Oude Tart, Rub-a Dub Dubbel, Autumn Maple, Humulus Lager, Mischief and Loakal Red as a prelude to the kickoff for Craft Beer Week in Los Angeles.
