LA Beer Week is upon us! Join us for Eleven days of LA Beer culture, friends, family, events and most importantly..some of the best craft beer available to mankind. We’re pretty excited about our lineup this year as every event is very unique and special in of itself. So without further ado:
Thursday, September 20th :
Dogfish Head Invades Little Tokyo 6pm
Join us as we kick off LA Beer Week in a BIG way. Dogfish Head is taking over Far Bar for the evening! We’ve worked closely with the brewery to secure some of their biggest and most sought after beers. The infamous Randall will also be making an appearance as we’ll be doing a special beer-infusion for this event along with Godzilla flicks on the screen all night long.

Saturday, September 22nd:
Kern River Brewing with Kyle Smith 3pm
Usually us LA folk have to drive 200 miles or so in hopes to obtain some of our most treasured beers from Kern County before they sell out, but this time Kernville is coming to us! Multiple Time Award Winning KRBC Brewer/Owner and all around just great guy Kyle Smith will be in the house to share a compilation of his gems with all of us. This is definitely not one to miss! Walker’s Wild Ride 7pm
David and Sour Jim’s unruly trek in a ’55 Land Rover to LA with 5 rare sour beers during LA Beer Week happens Saturday September 22. On board the designated transporter of Sours will be a collection of specialty Firestone Barrelworks Beers. A blind drawing the day of will determine the beer to be poured at each location.
Wednesday, September 26th: 6:30pm
An Evening with Beachwood BBQ and Brewing
This will be a night of local celebration with our friends from about 30 miles South. Beachwood BBQ has been a staple of the LA/OC Craft Beer Scene for over six years now but their brewery,only a little over a year old, is already brewing some of the best beer in So Cal and beyond. So join us as we celebrate LA Beer culture and satisfy your palate with a great list of beers and BBQ/Exotic Meat recipes with Asian fusion twist. The Beachwood crew will be in the house as well.

The 2nd Annual Big Crawl in Little Tokyo (featuring Stone Brew Co)
If you joined us for the Big Crawl in Little Tokyo last year you know that it was a showcase of some of the best craft breweries around along with an exciting journey through Little Tokyo’s elite bars. This year is going to be even bigger! Stone Brew Co/Far Bar: Stone Brew Co, The Escondite:Port/Lost Abbey, Lazy Ox: Oskar Blues, Spitz: Eagle Rock Brewery, Fuga: Great Divide, Weiland: Mad River Brewing and Xlixe: Ommegang.
